The Center for Promoting Graduate Studies is a university-wide
organization responsible for planning, coordinating, and advancing common
educational programs and research support for graduate students.
The Center for Promoting Graduate Studies aims to enhance graduate students’ research skills through a range of seminars and workshops. We are now offering “Nature Masterclasses On-demand” to all members of Tohoku University, available from campus network. These on-demand resources are designed for both the personal development of research skills and educational purposes in graduate schools, laboratories, and other academic activities. Please utilize these resources during the designated period.

Important Notice: Changes to Authentication Method for Nature Masterclasses On-demand
Starting March 31, 2026, authentication will be restricted to official Tohoku University email addresses. Only
the following domains will be authorized for access:
@tohoku.ac.jp
@dc.tohoku.ac.jp
Note 1: Department-specific email addresses are not eligible. Please use one of the addresses listed above.
Note 2: Until March 2026, authentication was based on IP addresses (on-campus network). However,
following the upgrade of the new Nature Masterclasses on-demand platform, the authentication method has
changed. You can now access the platform from off-campus networks by using the above email address.
For Existing Users
If you used the service during the 2025 academic year, you will be prompted to register as a new user when
you first access the new platform. By using the same Tohoku University email address as before, your course
progress and certificates will be automatically transferred.
