Connecting MD program student to Local High scool students
MD program’s doctoral course student, Hiroki FURUYA gave a talk to local high school students.
On May 17th, Eighty Sendai Daisan high school students visited Tohoku university for their learning opportunity. During the visit, Furuya presented his research, FSW (Friction Stir Welding) of which is solid-state joining process, and demonstrated FSW’s welding procedure of aluminum alloy, to five students out of eighty.
The Outreach activity is worthwhile not only for high school students but for a MD program student. Furuya is building up his communication skill for becoming a qualified business leader throughout outreach experiences.
