MD program student wins Jean-Sébastien Thomas Prize
MD program student, Kantaro TAKEYAMA received Jean-Sébastien Thomas Prize at 10th Society and Materials International Conference (SAM10) in Rome, Italy on May 9th,2016.
The prize is reward to the best research paper on sustainable development, presented at SAM conference, held annually.
Takeyama received it to his co-authored paper , “Dynamical material flow analysis of alloy elements associated with steel materials by using Matrace” as the first recipient of The Jean-Sébastien Thomas Prize.
The prize is established by ArcelorMittal in 2016 to honor the company’s former head of R&D for sustainability, Jean-Sébastien Thomas who contributed for the SAM conference and passed away in 2014.
