Scholarship

Purpose

To provide benefits as support expenses (scholarship) so that those who are selected as leading graduate students can devote themselves to study and research in the program.

Eligible students for benefits

  1. Students with excellent academic records who are enrolled in the Master’s Course (First Term) or Doctoral Course (Second Term) and have been selected for the Leading Graduate School Program.
  2. Students who can be continuously involved in the program throughout the year.
  3. Students who do not receive benefits as support expenses under the Research Fellowship for Young Scientists program of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science etc.
  4. Students who do not receive scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship.

    5. Grant of money

    Approximately 150,000 JPY/month –
    (After examining, the program member decide who to hire as a Research Assistant(RA), the amount is subject to change.)

    Note)
    Benefits are not allowed to be paid to students who work for remuneration.
    Students who receive benefits must file a final tax return at the end of the tax year.
